All beds, cribs and furniture carrying the Greenguard logo are Greenguard GOLD certified for extremely low VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) and other harmful chemicals, since 2010.

If a product bears the Greenguard certification, you can rest assured it has passed a meticulous and thorough testing process for VOCs. The testing process can take anywhere from 1 month up to 6 months, depending on the complexity of the tested product.

Our company was the first in the industry, over 10 years ago, to obtain this Voluntary Certification for all cribs and dressers. We worked closely with the Greenguard lab for the past 10 years to meet and maintain their stringent requirements for very low Volatile Organic Compounds (V.O.C.) that can compromise the health of a growing baby’s developing body, mind and lungs.

At Georgia Baby Furniture, we are targeting minimal impact on our planet, our environment and indoor air. Our warehouse runs on solar and hydroelectric sustainable energy sources. We are also finding eco-friendly ways to manufacture our products and ensure a responsible manufacturing process.

Our wood is certified by the FOREST STEWARDSHIP COUNCIL meeting the strict standards on Forest Management and Replantation (3-4 trees for each 1 cut down). The adhesive and stains used in our factory are waterbased and free of harmful ingredients. Our wooden panels are adhered with Pure Bond, the

cleanest adhesive in the industry. The base coat (varnish) used to seal the wood is applied by roler and not sprayed on, in order to avoid any “spray fumes” in the environment. Our top coat (varnish) wraps the wood electrostatically in order to minimize the overspray. Our carton boxes are made of recycled post consumer waste. All our residues of wood, metal and cardboard waste are sent to the Recycling Facilities weekly, for a second life. The electricity used in our factory is Water Generated with a near Zero Footprint. We do our part to protect our immediate surrounding environment and we believe that if 7 billion people do the same, we could preserve our planet earth. Let’s start!
